The Latin inscription on the flag – “Ex Scientiae Vires” translate to “From Knowledge, Strength.”

The three quills were chosen to symbolize the three branches of knowledge – the arts, the science and the philosophies.

“Duneside, direction for Life.” This imply that we at Duneside High will ensure to the best of our ability to equip our school-going community to take the right path in life.

“ From Knowledge,  Strength.”  The dunes in the background on the badge portray a seat of knowledge next to the dunes”.
